The hotel is opening in late April. This position would not start until early/mid April. We are looking now for team members who are planning ahead!
Open positions include: Guest Services, Night Audit, Engineering, Housekeeping, Breakfast, and Bartender. Apply to this posting for Engineer.
As a member of our Engineering team, your responsibilities will include:
- The opening of a hotel! That includes everything imaginable from setting up guest and back office spaces, setting up and cleaning of rooms, training, and just being open to whatever needs to get done.
- Understanding basic emergency procedures for the property (safety for our team members and guests is our #1 priority).
- Basic knowledge of common guest room issues: HVAC/PTAC, electrical, plumbing, painting
- Understanding of the Preventative Maintenance process and able to execute one flawlessly.
- Upkeep of the Engineering shop.
- Assist in the upkeep of the property, including taking out trash, maintaining outdoor areas, etc.
- Team work is key! A successful hotel does not have a "not my job" attitude. We're all here for the guest in whatever form that takes.
- Patience. Opening a hotel will come with it's own speed bumps. Let's work through them together and with a positive attitude!
